According to Deutsche Welle, the spokesperson of the Swiss Foreign Office, Pere Alan Eltschinger, told the "Blake" newspaper/website that the visit of the ambassador of this country to Qom was made in the framework of an academic institution that works in the field of dialogue between religions, and the students of this institution Attend interfaith seminars in Switzerland. In this regard, he said, the Swiss ambassador "had a short visit to an important religious city Mohammad Qomi and followed the instructions there for women to cover".

The spokesperson of the Swiss Foreign Office stressed that interfaith dialogues "have a lot of meaning in the current situation" and that Switzerland uses all communication channels to advance these dialogues, including "between governments within the framework of their good services".
