Some teachers are superheroes. They go above and beyond for their students and change the lives of future children by inspiring, listening and enlightening their minds.
A teacher from Melbourne, Australia, inspired by the drawings of his students, made police toys to show his devotion to them. He gave these dolls to his students at the end of the school term.
Reed Parker , the father of one of the lucky kids who received a Polish doll, shared the creations online. Following this sharing, a wave of admiration was sent towards this teacher and his creative movement. The kind teacher asked to remain anonymous and not attract public attention.
"There are teachers who do amazing things for their students," Parker said in a statement. These efforts are not always as tangible as what my son's teacher did. To improve a child's life, it is enough for an adult to really listen to him. "Someone with a passion for dinosaurs, space, or art can boost a child's imagination."
The amazing creatures in children's drawings show the endless creativity of elementary school students. From fluffy creatures with claws to whimsical multi-eyed creatures, the teacher beautifully transforms what's on paper into a huggable doll that kids will love for years to come.
According to Parker, the educator began making dolls in 2020 and delivered them to children's homes during the Covid-19 pandemic. Since the teacher paid for the puppets out of her own pocket, parents and well-wishers contacted Parker online to find ways to help the creative storyteller. That's why Parker started a GoFundMe page where people can show their support and thank the teacher.
"These people spend a lot of time with our children, and we want to make sure that they are properly compensated and not just thought of as babysitters," Parker writes.
